CE marking

Medical devices and applicable consumables sold through Pontavivo are CE-marked according to manufacturer documentation and EU MDR requirements where applicable. We are a distributor, not a manufacturer — certificate numbers and notified-body references come from the brand and are available on request for specific SKUs.

We do not invent or alter certification numbers.

Batch number & expiry on every product page

Before you add an item to cart, the product page shows the current batch number and expiry date of the stock we hold. These match the labels on the physical goods you receive.

Minimum remaining shelf life

Unless you agree otherwise in writing, we ship consumables with at least 6 months remaining shelf life at the date of dispatch. Short-dated or clearance stock is labelled clearly and priced accordingly.

Batch traceability

Every order line records the batch shipped. If you need to trace a lot for inventory audit or a supplier query, contact us with your order ID — we retain dispatch records for the period required by EU regulations.

Storage & transport

Storage conditions are listed on each product page and match manufacturer instructions. We store and transport goods accordingly — including temperature-controlled items where required. Report any damage or temperature breach on receipt within 48 hours.
